About: of Paper, Pints, and Tweed
Hello, and thanks for stopping by!
My name is Mason, I work at a local Christian bookstore, and also do some a freelance blogging and publishing work.
This blog is primarily about books. Books I come across on the job, and other books I happen to be reading in my spare time – typically on the topics of theology, biblical studies, or the Christian life, but occasionally fiction, or books on beer or even gardening.

Good stuff, Mason! Excited for you
Your blog tag line makes me think of this quote:
“‘Like’ and ‘like’ and ‘like’–but what is the thing that lies beneath the semblance of the thing?”
– The Waves, Virginia Woolf
Are you a Woolf fan? I love that line and it’s an interesting thought to apply it to theology, too; great.
I’ve not read Woolf yet, I actually adapted it from a phrase Rob Bell is fond of.
